SFS EQ takes an active owner role by providing up to 50% of the required equity of a project or investment over the lifetime (development, construction, operation).

As a member of the EQ Finance team for AA (f/m/d) you will work together with highly skilled and motivated professionals with expertise to assess target and portfolio companies, its valuations and its impact on Siemens KPIs to support SFS EQ in achieving high-reaching portfolio goals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Perform financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making for the business.
  • Evaluate growth companies and determine their valuation.
  • Analyze financial statements and prepare financial reports.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts.
  • Conduct industry and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
  • Communicate financial findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Add value to transactions by leveraging your finance expertise, due diligence experience and structuring experience.

What you need to make real what matters

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or similar quantitative field.
  • 2+ years prior experience, inclusive of internships, in financial modeling and company valuation.
  • Relevant prior experience in, Investment Banking, Private Equity Venture Capital, Merger and Acquisitions and/or Project Finance/Capital Markets.
  • Strong MS Excel and financial modelling skills to review financial models and perform analytics
  • Experience in managing interface between business and support functions such as accounting, tax, reporting, business controlling, etc.
  • You are characterized by your affinity for digitization as well as your competence to work in international teams and to communicate effectively, also on a global level
  • Your fluent business English and excellent communication skills complete your profile
