Responsibilities

As part of VPS continuous improvement team, your primary responsibility will be to support the improvement, governance and maintenance of methods and tools for the product and process development steps in Vestas. This includes:

  • Support organization on defining and implementing systems engineering
  • Support technical areas in correctly implementing the product development methods and extract the added value of a standard method
  • Participate in root cause analysis to determine detection and systemic root causes of reported field issues
  • Follow up on tasks and deliverables for improvement related projects
  • Collaborate closely with modules and product groups to track product quality throughout the entire development cycle and create preventive actions
  • Support the creation of tools and methods to ensure compliance of the development processes and practices with quality standards
  • Create and implement systems, templates and tools for the continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

To fit well into the position, you should ideally possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor or master's degree in Engineering or relevant experience
  • 2+ years experience working in product development ideally of mature industries e.g., automotive, aviation, aerospace, etc
  • Comfortable working in standard IT systems (excel, word, SharePoint, etc)
  • Experience in quality or technical areas in R&D projects is advantageous
  • General knowledge of ISO 9001 is a valuable asset
  • Experience with APIS IQ FMEA and/or Visure IRQA is valued
  • Good communication skills in English, both orally and written
