Job Description
GOLDBECK SOLAR is a leading provider of turnkey photovoltaic systems on commercial roofs and ground mounted utility scale PV power plants. With our team of dedicated employees, we develop, plan, build, operate and finance photovoltaic systems in Germany, Europe and worldwide - tailor-made with a standardized approach.
What you can expect
We are seeking a Financial Analyst (m/f/d) who will be responsible for the financial planning, analysis and controlling as well as payment processing and reporting. Thereby you will work closely with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate strategies to maximise profitability.
Tasks
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metric tracking for solar energy assets
- Create commercial asset management reports and present it to the customers
- Develop and standardize processes in the asset management department
- Conduct financial analysis of solar projects, including returns analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk analysis
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, and identify trends for predicting future performance
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to the management
- Manage invoice payment processes, including review, validation, and processing for payment
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve any issues related to invoice payments
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of budgets and financial controls to optimize costs
Profile
- Completed degree in economics, finance or business administration with focus on controlling or equivalent
- At least five years of professional experience in financial controlling and analysis
- Very good English language skills, and ideally additional Polish or Spanish language skills
- Sound experience in financial statements, audits, taxation, payment processing and financial models
- Good knowledge in MS-Office
- Structured and conscientious way of working
- Strong solution orientation and sense of responsibility
