We leverage oil and gas technology, along with some proprietary solutions, to create the world’s first closed-loop geothermal system. Eavor has successfully built a prototype demonstration facility (“Eavor-Lite”) in Alberta along with our partners. Working with clients and partners, we are progressing a pipeline of commercial projects in Northern Europe, Canada, The United States, and Japan.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Commercial Project Management to lead and coordinate all commercial aspects of our geothermal energy projects. This senior leadership role requires a strong economics and project management background, along with deep expertise in contract management, procurement, logistics, and project cost controlling. You will be responsible for managing and aligning the commercial, legal, financial, and administrative functions of our large-scale, complex energy projects.
Some of What You Will do
- Commercial Management & Strategy
- Oversee the development and execution of commercial strategies across geothermal projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and financial objectives.
- Contract & Commercial Contract Management
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, and administration of complex commercial contracts. Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and mitigate legal and financial risks.
- Procurement Oversight
- Supervise the procurement function, ensuring robust sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery. Strengthen and improve the company-wide procurement processes.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain planning and execution for major project components, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics support.
- Project Cost Controlling & Commercial Governance
- Implement effective cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting mechanisms. Monitor project commercial KPIs and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the key commercial interface between project management and departments including project finance, legal, accounting, and other administrative functions.
- Project Finance Integration
- Contribute to project financing efforts by aligning commercial terms with financing requirements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the project finance department, financial institutions and legal counsel.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and further build up a high-performing commercial team. Provide mentoring and first-line leadership, fostering a culture of mutual trust, accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Some of What You Will Need
Must-Have Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- University degree in Economics or Business Administration with commercial specialization, or related field.

Demonstrated expertise in:

- All aspects of financial and commercial project reporting
- Experience in Project finance for infrastructure or energy projects is an add-on, but not required

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
