Job Description
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is one of the world's leading renewable energy infrastructure fund managers, with a portfolio spanning 28 countries and over EUR 30bn in assets under management.
We are looking for an experienced Rewards Senior Manager / Vice President to manage and shape the incentives and compensation agenda across CIP Fund Solutions and our platform companies.
CIP Fund Solutions is the integrated operating platform of CIP, providing end-to-end fund management and operational services across the CIP ecosystem. Acting as the operational backbone of the platform, CIP FS enables scalable growth by delivering transparency, efficiency, and control across increasingly complex fund and investment structures. As CIP continues to expand, CIP FS is evolving into a technology-enabled, data-driven platform and a key source of value, supporting operational excellence and value creation for funds, investors, and platform companies.
The role
You will lead the execution of the reward strategy across CIP Fund Solutions and CIP's platform companies, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the organization. The role combines strategic advisory, practical delivery, and project management, with a particular focus on global incentive programs.
You will report to the Head of Total Rewards and collaborate closely with People, Finance and senior business stakeholders to co-create and implement reward structures across our platform companies in 20+ countries. The role is based in our headquarters in Copenhagen, and we are open to international candidates who are willing to relocate.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Strategic partnering: Advise leaders and stakeholders on global reward principles, policies and governance
- Compensation management: Manage benchmarking, job evaluation, and annual reward cycles (merit, bonus, promotions, off-cycle adjustments)
- Benefits management: Oversee the global benefits strategy and delivery, partnering with relevant stakeholders to ensure competitive, compliant, and scalable benefit programs across markets.
- Incentive programs: Design and execute short- and long-term incentive plans and ensure high-quality delivery across platform companies
- Project leadership: Manage key reward initiatives, including incentive redesigns and technology enhancements
- Analytics & insights: Deliver data-driven insights to support decision-making and reinforce fair and consistent practices
- Financial oversight: Support budgeting, cost estimates and governance processes in collaboration with Finance and key stakeholders
You
We are looking for a commercially minded rewards professional with a relevant degree in finance, economics, business or a related field, and a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a reward, incentives or compensation role, ideally within an asset manager, fund manager, private equity firm or financial services business. You understand how incentive structures work in practice, not just in theory, and you are as comfortable designing and implementing carry plans as you are running an annual comp cycle. You operate effectively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment and bring both rigour and pragmatism to your work.
Key qualifications include
- Solid financial acumen with ability to translate complex matters into clear messages
- Deep business insight, along with practical experience in investment banking, private equity, or fund management organizations
- Experience in implementing and executing various incentive plans, e.g. carried interest and warrant programs
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex reward topics into clear recommendations for senior and non-specialist audiences
- Skilled in creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations
- Results-driven with a well-developed execution orientation, and a focus on effective problem solving and clear communication
- Effective project leadership skills, with experience delivering complex projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Well organized with a structured and disciplined approach, able to connect the dots independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
