Cost Estimation Engineer - Madrid

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EPC bid engineering, specifically within the utility-scale PV and BESS sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for utility-scale PV and BESS projects, considering all project components and phases.
• Ensure accurate and competitive CAPEX estimation based on past offers/contracts and forecast future projects in each country where the company operates.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Utilize industry-standard estimation tools and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain up-to-date cost databases.
• Participate in project risk assessment and management activities to identify and mitigate potential cost impacts.
• Prepare and present detailed cost reports and forecasts for future bid proposals

This position is based in Madrid and offers remote work 1-2 days per week + summer schedule. Long term contract.
