Your responsibilities will vary depending on the department and location of your internship. Yet regardless of where you join us within DEME, you will be part of an organization that works according to one shared mindset: We Care. We Dare. We Deliver.

Please include a motivation letter and a resume, both preferably in English. Make sure these documents clearly include:

Internship timing: your preferred start date and the required duration of your internship.

Motivation to join DEME: why are you interested in DEME and what you hope to achieve during your internship.

Location preference:

Most internships take place at our headquarters in Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht, so please consider commuting possibilities and your mobility.

Interest in international offices: please, first check whether there is a specific vacancy for that location and apply directly there. If no vacancy is available, you may apply through this form and indicate clearly which office you are interested in.

Project-based internships abroad: some internships are located on our international project sites. These require an on-site stay. Travel, accommodation and essential facilities are then provided by DEME.

Providing this information helps us determine the best possible internship match for your profile. Once aligned, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and bring your ideas to the table. • You are currently studying at a recognized educational institution and are allowed to complete an internship as part of your curriculum.
• You are a team player with a proactive, hands-on mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• You are eager to learn, open to feedback, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• You communicate clearly and act professionally in a multicultural environment.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is considered an asset.
• You are flexible in terms of mobility, depending on the type and location of the internship you are applying for.
