The Group Investments and Financing team is responsible for CIP Holding's balance sheet investment activities and capital allocation priorities, providing decision support to the CFO, CIP management, and CIP's owners. We work as a closely integrated team, delivering high-quality investment analyses and recommendations in collaboration with the responsible Partner and CFO as well as stakeholders across CIP. Our work supports major investment decisions and plays an important role in shaping CIP's long-term growth and strategic direction.
The role
As our new Senior Associate, you will help support CIP Holding's investment activities from analysis through to execution. This is an investment-focused role that combines well-developed analytical and strategic capabilities with practical project management and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with the responsible Partner, the CFO, and colleagues across CIP, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic investment decisions.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to
- Support CIP Holding's investments and strategic projects across CIP-managed funds, affiliated GPs, and new CIP companies
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the CIP Holding investment strategy, including capital allocation frameworks and long-term balance sheet planning
- Support the evaluation and execution of tactical allocation decisions, including analysis of investment and divestment opportunities
- Conduct investment analysis, valuation modelling, market assessments, and due diligence on new opportunities
- Support the negotiation of commercial and legal terms with funds, counterparties, and co-investors, alongside the responsible Partner and legal teams
- Manage project timelines, workstreams, and stakeholders across multiple parallel initiatives, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through
- Prepare investment recommendations, decision materials, and presentations for senior stakeholders and the Board
- Structure complex problems and perform thorough analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across finance, legal, business development, and investor relations to support transaction execution and strategic initiatives
- Support ad hoc analyses, board materials, and special projects for the Partners and senior team members
You
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional with a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline, combined with approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience from investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate finance, or a similar analytical environment.

Key qualifications include
- Strong financial and strategic acumen, with solid valuation, investment analysis, and financial modelling skills
- Experience supporting transaction processes, due diligence, and investment-related analyses
- Ability to structure complex problems and evaluate opportunities and risks across a range of scenarios, with solid numerical skills and attention to detail
- Skilled in project management, with experience overseeing processes, bringing stakeholders together, and tracking multiple workstreams
- Experience with, or interest in, negotiating commercial and legal terms
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, with the ability to produce high-quality decision materials
- Interest in fund structures, GP/LP dynamics, and infrastructure or renewable energy investments is an advantage
- A proactive and structured approach, with ownership of deliverables and the motivation to move projects forward
- Skilled at building productive relationships and collaborating across teams and functions
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
