Job Description
- Responsible for the development of one or more battery materials, such as cathode (high-Ni NMC), anode (graphite + SiC), separator, new binders, or collector foils.
- Formulate and implement technical strategies for material development and formulation design.
- Communicate with material suppliers to track the latest advancements in materials and technologies, and lead new material screening, validation, optimization, and introduction into production.
- Conduct DOE, optimization, validation, and introduction of cathode and anode formulations to achieve higher performance.
- Integrate new materials into existing internal chemical systems to enhance overall cell performance.
- Develop new material and process platforms in alignment with the company's technical roadmap, including formulation and process evaluations.
- Lead or support technical problem-solving and failure analysis (FA) related to materials or processes.
Requirements
- At least mater degree
- At least 3years of material development and product development experience. Know the lithium-ion battery very well. Can lead the material development or product development by himself.
- Good FA/problem solving/data analysis capability
- Good communication with English.
- Rich experience for customer communication, it would be great if he/she had the experience for the EV car development.
