Job Description
- Design cell products based on customer requirements.
- Validate product performance, including electrochemical and safety aspects, and conduct continuous optimization.
- Lead new product introductions (NPI) and manage all related documentation, including BOM, DFMEA, and sample build index.
- Oversee sample builds, identify and resolve technical issues, and lead failure analysis (FA) activities.
- Participate in customer discussions related to new product development.
- Support other departments with cell product-related technical issues.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in material and product development, with a strong understanding of lithium-ion batteries.
- Proven ability to lead material or product development projects independently.
- Strong failure analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Extensive experience in customer communication; experience in EV (electric vehicle) development is highly preferred.
