Job Description

Design cell products based on customer requirements.
Validate product performance, including electrochemical and safety aspects, and conduct continuous optimization.
Lead new product introductions (NPI) and manage all related documentation, including BOM, DFMEA, and sample build index.
Oversee sample builds, identify and resolve technical issues, and lead failure analysis (FA) activities.
Participate in customer discussions related to new product development.
Support other departments with cell product-related technical issues.

Requirements

Master's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in material and product development, with a strong understanding of lithium-ion batteries.
Proven ability to lead material or product development projects independently.
Strong failure analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Extensive experience in customer communication; experience in EV (electric vehicle) development is highly preferred.
