At Freedom Forever, we're known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and empowering our teams. We're looking for a Roof Lead who's ready to take ownership of rooftop solar installations and help drive our mission forward.
Pay Range $26 to $30/hr. + install bonuses + benefits + advancement opportunities
Position Summary
The Roof Lead is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops and other structures. You'll lead the roof crew, ensure safe and efficient installations, and uphold Freedom Forever's high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicle to and from job sites
- Load/unload materials and transport them to rooftops
- Assemble and install all roof components of PV systems
- Perform PV electrical work and final wiring under supervision
- Lead and assign tasks to the roof crew
- Communicate with the Crew Lead and ensure project updates
- Follow Freedom Forever plan sets and safety protocols
- Flash penetrations and ensure weatherproofing
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and company policies
What You Bring
- Proven experience in solar installation, especially rooftop systems
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Familiarity with hand/power tools and construction safety practices
- Ability to read and follow plan sets and technical instructions
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and insurance (travel required)
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and productivity
