Job Description
Skeleton's Advanced Engineering Department is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Application Engineer (m/f/x).
Your responsibility areas
- Product requirements elicitation, requirements analysis, and requirements management.
- System architectural design, technology selection, and dimensioning.
- Writing and maintaining product documentation, such as datasheets, user manuals, and application notes.
- Supporting sales and commissioning.
- Contributing to standards compliance in the product development phase, and working with approval bodies (such as UL) to obtain product certifications.
Requirements
- A degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy systems, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of electrical engineering and related physics.
- Understanding of DC/DC converter topologies and their dimensioning.
- Good communication skills, ability to converse with product development domain specialists, customers, approval and standardization bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel (to our different sites and customers' locations).
