We're designing, financing, building and operating the world's most sophisticated battery systems to enable the take up of more renewable power, electrifying fleets for cleaner air, and providing clean, portable power including repurposed electric vehicle batteries. Our proprietary software and data analysis optimises operational performance for our customers to reduce emissions and costs.
Since we began in 2017, we've raised over £2.7 billion in debt and equity funding and transformed it into >1.2GW of grid-connected batteries live or under contract and c.3,400 electric vehicles supported. We have operations in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, the US and Canada, with a global headquarters in London.
We're the number one owner and operator of e-buses in Australia and New Zealand with operations in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. We are quickly expanding into light commercial vehicles and trucks. Our rapidly growing company is looking for highly talented and motivated people to join us.
A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY
- Asset monitoring - asset health checks, alerts and performance monitoring to ensure high asset reliability without compromising safety and environmental commitments. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify key pain points and vulnerabilities as well as identify and follow up on opportunities for future improvements. Track spare item usage and inventory
- Issue management - proactively communicate with key stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure reporting procedures on incident management both internally and externally are carried out in accordance with contractual obligations. Develop strategies to prevent recurring topics, including post-mortem analyses on major or recurring issues and near misses
- Sub-contractor management - schedule preventative maintenance in a cost-efficient manner. Monitor and act on 3rd party performance guarantees/SLA"s. Regular catch up's with subcontractors to assess competencies and performance, including assessing reports and site audits.
- Operations development - collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to embrace the concept of co-development of services to ensure continuous improvements across the business
- Develop performance focused environment to meet objectives and KPI's in accordance to the departmental and company strategy and goals
- Financial reporting - Monitors financial costs and reports monthly on operating costs to include sub-contractors, ad-hoc services, spare parts, to include all in-scope and out of scope activities.
- Ensure customer relationship is always prioritised, communicating clearly and politely to promote retention and growth
- Develop mitigation plans for force majeure or other events
- Ensure SLA's are closely monitored and adhered to in accordance to Customers Charging Services Agreement to mitigate the risk of breach of contract and litigation
- Actively contribute to Zenobe's commitment to health and safety, wellbeing and sustainability by; integrating these principles into daily responsibilities, ensuring a safe and supportive work environment, promoting both the physical and mental health of self and colleagues, and adopting sustainable and energy-efficient practices to minimize environmental impact. By doing so, each employee at Zenobe plays a vital role in fostering a culture that prioritises overall safety, holistic wellbeing, environmental sustainability in our business operations.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Sound Electrical Background - Degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a critical infrastructure environment.
- Electrical engineering awareness.
- Experience managing and reporting on operating costs for Operations & Maintenance services
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships up to a senior level including client visits and preparing presentations
- Experience providing detailed asset and performance reporting
- Experience managing a team
- Excellent negotiation skills with proven experience of negotiating with partners/suppliers
- Contract management skills including effectively managing sub-contractors and SLA's
- Reporting capabilities and forecasting trends utilising dashboards, PowerBI, excel
- A solid team player with a collaborative and consultative approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including in major incident communications
- Pragmatic, proactive and solution driven
- Able to thrive in a very fast-paced environment with high levels of accountability to key stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to multi-task, meet deadlines and prioritise competing demands
- Attention to detail and able to produce work of consistently high quality
- Proven record of success
- Previous experience in a client facing Operations role
- Proven track record of customer satisfaction and demonstrating operational and customer service excellence
- Ability to work from our Surry Hills office 2/3 days per week
