Job Description

As an Operations Data & Process Specialist (m/f/d), you will play a key role in structuring, managing, and visualizing operational data and processes across the organization. You will take ownership of the department's data universe, ensure reliable and scalable dataflows, and translate complex operational workflows into clear, actionable insights. Your work will directly support transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-evolving environment.

What will you do

  • Take responsibility for the department's data landscape, ensuring data structures are well-maintained, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Monitor and manage dataflows across systems, proactively identifying issues and resolving them with a structured and analytical approach.
  • Act as a key interface between data and process experts, translating complex operational workflows into clear and visual process representations.
  • Challenge and improve existing process visualizations and tools, identifying opportunities for simplification, optimization, and better alignment with evolving business requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand functional needs and ensure data and process solutions are user-friendly, scalable, and technically robust.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of internal standards for data handling and process documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate data and process insights into operational planning and decision-making.
  • Stay proactive and adaptable, continuously learning and keeping pace with new tools, technologies, and changing business priorities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a data, operations, process, or business analytics-related role.
  • Experience working with operational data, dataflows, and structured data environments in a business context.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, particularly in managing Workspaces and Dataflows.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse or similar platforms for structured business data.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data connections and complex functions.
  • Experience with Visio or comparable tools for process mapping and visualization.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Comfort working with numbers, structured datasets, and complex operational information.
  • Ability to translate complex data and process topics into clear, structured, and user-friendly outputs.
