Our passionate MENA team play a key role in some the region's most important and exciting projects. The team works across all sectors in the region with project locations far and wide.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, passionate and motivated Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our new team in Bengaluru, India, to work and lead on some of the most exciting sustainable projects in India, MENA and around the world.
Working under the guidance and supervision of more experienced staff, you will develop your existing knowledge and skills in Sustainability, Project Management, and Building physics and assist with the development of energy and sustainability strategies for buildings and businesses.
Working closely with colleagues of various disciplines across MENA and global offices, you will design, analyse, report, document and lead on Sustainability & Building Physics projects as well as present to clients. You will work across a variety of sectors and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.
You will be responsible for client management and project delivery for our key work streams:
- Building physics, environmental modelling and analysis, AI and parametric modelling
- Planning, certification (LEED, WELL, BREEAM, etc.) and building regulations.
- Whole life carbon, circular economy
- Climate resilience, adaptation and regeneration
- ESG policy and strategy
- Building performance and operational energy optimisation
- Health and wellbeing advice and guidance.
- Net zero carbon services.
- Sustainability design services
- Sustainable Strategy and Governance
We expect all team members to aim at going well beyond industry standards to positively impact every project we work on.
The Skills
Educated to Bachelors or Master's level (or equivalent) in Engineering or the Built Environment, you will have gained relevant practical experience in a similar role, and demonstrable knowledge and experience of sustainability and building physics, particularly in relation to thermal comfort, passive design, compliance modelling and real operational energy assessments.
Knowledge of dynamic simulation software, Architectural & mechanical design, International Building Regulations, Planning issues, operational energy calculation and life cycle carbon costing is highly desirable.
An understanding of financial and resource management is critical.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
- LEED Accredited Professional.
- PMP or equivalent Management degree.
- 7 to 10 years of experience within ESD consulting in the built environment sector, specifically in the MENA region.
- The ability to lead projects and more junior staff and positively represent the business.
- Experience with preparing strategy, implementation and certification of best practice schemes, including LEED, Mostadam, Estidama, GSAS, BREEAM and WELL.
- Experience in building physics modelling (Energy, Daylight, Comfort, Parametrics) in general, and Design Builder & IES-VE software in specific.
- Solid understanding of the relevant industry codes across the region.
- Possess a body of knowledge allowing you to evaluate ESD attributes and opportunities within designs, and where improvements are required (Architectural, mechanical, façade, spatial etc).
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong Presentation & Reporting skills.
- Excellent Organizational, Time Management & Resource Management skills.
- Client liaison and relationship management throughout various stages of a project.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively planning to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage the various sustainability aspects of complex design and construction projects, with aspiring Net-Zero carbon targets.
Preferable, but not essential
- Estidama PQP/ WELL AP / GSAS CGP/ Mostadam AP/ SITES AP
- Familiarity with Architectural modelling software platforms, including Revit, Sketchup & Rhino.
- Experience with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) using E-tool or equivalent software.
- Experience with ESG and Corporate Sustainability principles.
