Job Description
At dawn, a maintenance crew steps onto a nacelle. The wind is right, the schedule is tight, and safety is non‑negotiable.
What makes this moment possible isn't luck-it's readiness. The right people, the right certificates, the right timing. That orchestration? It's you.
At FairWind, we believe the wind industry runs on two things: technical excellence and human coordination. Our technicians keep the blades turning. You make sure they're ready to do it-trained, scheduled, compliant, confident.
The story you'll own
You start with a pipeline: platforms, OEM requirements, shifting project calendars. You translate noise into clarity-who goes where, who needs what, and when it all fits together.
You spot a gap in a training matrix before anyone else does. You book seats, confirm travel, and keep certificates audit‑ready. When MPP changes at the last minute, you don't panic-you pivot, and the team still deploys on time.
A new technician reaches out about their schedule. You give them structure, a plan, and a path forward. A high‑potential teammate shows leadership on site; you help shape their next role-Team Lead, Installation Coordinator-because careers should grow alongside turbines.
You're in Team Selling, Kick‑Offs, and After‑Action Reviews-close enough to the operations to understand the beat, far enough to see the pattern. You track training budgets, you advise PMs, and you champion smarter tools (Shoreline). You keep the work human, the data accurate, and the delivery smooth.
Your qualifications
You've spent 5+ years in resource planning, training coordination, or logistics-ideally in a technical/project context.
You speak English fluently, think in spreadsheets (Excel), live in your calendar (Outlook), and communicate with calm, clear intent-even when timelines get tight.
You care about HSE, quality, and people. You enjoy turning complexity into action. And you like seeing the result of your work out on a wind farm, not just in a spreadsheet.
Your Role
- Resource planning & allocation: Match technicians to projects by skills, certificates, and platform/client needs. Shape rotations and calendars for full site coverage and cost‑effective utilization.
- Training coordination: Build schedules aligned with the project pipeline; identify gaps (OEM/Country/Platform/HSE/Medical); book and communicate training/travel.
- Technician support & growth: Be the first point of contact for non‑technical matters; gather input for monthly evaluations; support development paths for high‑potential techs.
- Compliance & certificates: Retrieve, maintain, and verify training records; ensure deployment readiness; promote adoption of new tools and platforms.
- Budget & stakeholder advice: Track training costs; deliver clean monthly analyses; advise Sales/Project teams during scoping.
What we offer
- An attractive salary package
- Private medical care (Luxmed), Multisport card, and group life insurance
- Flexible working hours, hybrid work model
- Comprehensive onboarding program
- A role in the dynamic and ever-evolving wind energy industry
- A multinational work environment with offices in Germany, Poland, Denmark, the UK, Spain, and the United States
- Diverse training and development opportunities
- A motivated, friendly, and open team with a great working atmosphere
Additional information
Why FairWind
Because your orchestration isn't just admin-it's impact. It's the difference between a turbine standing and producing power, and a turbine waiting on paperwork. Here, your work touches real projects, real teams, real energy.
You'll collaborate across borders, build training pathways that matter, and be part of a company that treats readiness as a craft-and safety as a promise.
