Job Description
In our factory in Szczecin, we are looking for a Technical Product Owner for SCADA Systems. In this role, you will act as the primary technical point of contact for SCADA products in serial production, ensuring alignment between customers, internal stakeholders, and production teams. This position is critical for maintaining product integrity, managing lifecycle improvements, and supporting operational continuity.
Please note that this position is based in Szczecin. We work in a hybrid model (3 days in our Szczecin office and 2 days from home), so you should live within commuting distance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical matters with customers and internal teams.
- Discuss product upgrades and ensure full implementation in cooperation with Operations Engineering (OE) and Production Engineering (PE).
- Develop and maintain product strategy (variants, options, roadmaps).
- Support cost optimization initiatives and manage obsolete components.
- Handle CIM (Customer Issue Management) and NCR (Non-Conformance Report) cases related to SCADA.
- Assist service teams in creating retrofit kits and supporting service sales.
- Provide technical support during production stops (troubleshooting and coordination of corrective actions).
- Participate in Change Board meetings and support handling of change requests (CR).
- Contribute to gate reviews and internal/external First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Share lessons learned from previous products and projects.
- Ensure smooth handover from internal projects to serial production (documentation, training, validation).
Our requirements
- Engineering degree with strong technical background (electronics, automation, electrical, or software).
- At least 5 years of experience in product development.
- Proven experience with SCADA hardware and software.
- Ability to manage the full product lifecycle, including upgrades, obsolescence, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with Change Management processes (CIM, NCR, CR).
- Experience coordinating with Operations Engineering (OE) and Production Engineering (PE).
- Experience with gate reviews, FAI inspections, and handover from projects to serial production.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong capability to analyze technical issues and propose solutions under time pressure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PLM systems (e.g. Windchill, D365).
- Understanding of CE marking, PPAP, and international standards for electrical systems.
- Electrical qualification certificates up to 1 kV.
- Willingness to travel (mostly between Poland and Denmark).
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
