Job Description

As our new Manager in Capital Formation, you will be involved in capital-raising efforts in selected European markets. You will play a key role in sourcing, managing, and deepening relationships with investors to support fundraising initiatives. Responsibilities include managing the full fundraising process with investors, many of whom have varying levels of familiarity with CIP and diverse due diligence requirements. You will support senior team members in investor dialogues, prepare investor analysis, and ensure regular engagement. It will be pivotal that you can prioritize your tasks appropriately while supporting the Managing Director.

You will work across CIP's investment strategies - Flagship, Growth Markets, Advanced Bioenergy, Green Credit, and Energy Transition - gaining deep understanding in renewable energy infrastructure and becoming a trusted content provider for our global investor base.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with new and existing investors across key European markets (UK, Ireland, Benelux, France), including pension funds, insurers, and consultants;
  • Develop a thorough understanding of CIP's fund offerings and deliver clear, compelling communication to investors;
  • Prepare high-quality investor analysis and marketing materials for both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Organize and coordinate multiple investor processes simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient execution. Manage fundraising and due diligence efforts in close collaboration with IR & BD teams and other CIP functions;
  • Collaborate with Legal, ESG, Finance, Tax, Risk, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of fundraising initiatives;
  • Proactively promote CIP's investment strategies through targeted calls, roadshows, webinars, and other initiatives aligned with long-term sales objectives;
  • Support planning and execution of investor events, roadshows, and update calls;
  • Represent CIP at meetings, industry conferences, and roadshows;
  • Enhance knowledge-sharing systems and maintain accurate investor information; gather and share market feedback to inform best practices;
  • Ensure reliable client service through proactive communication and attentive service.

You

We are looking for a Manager with 5-8 years of experience in banking, investment, or private markets, ideally with exposure to client relations, capital raising, or relationship management in private markets, infrastructure, or real assets. You have a deep interest in fundraising, renewable energy projects, and private markets.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative team spirit;
  • Positive attitude and a motivated commitment to work in a growing international organization;
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills in English; additional European languages (e.g., Dutch or French) are a plus but not required;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a digital-first approach.
