Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Management or Finance student to join our Pipeline & Portfolio Management (PPM) team. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry, working closely on business relevant decisions. This role will work closely with different business functions and will support the team in analyses, drafting and communicating decision papers.

What you will do

  • Assist in data collection, organization, performance metrics tracking, and analysis to drive portfolio efficiency and support pipeline and portfolio decisions
  • Conduct scenario analysis for current and prospective projects
  • Conduct data quality checks and report these on regular bases
  • Draft and edit documentations for internal processes
  • Structure and develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders including top management
  • Support drafting decision papers on pipeline and portfolio decisions
  • Prepare communication materials to convey performance metrics and strategic insights
  • Support wider team members with ad-hoc requirements if necessary

What you'll need to succeed

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with prior experience or coursework related to renewable energy or project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and financials and interest in portfolio management
  • Strong attention to detail, a positive and proactive mindset, and a willingness to take on challenging tasks
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to work with database for data extraction to support analysis and decision making
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Naturally curious, well-organized, pragmatic, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for advancing renewable energy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills In English
  • Available for 16-20 hours per week, for a minimum period of one year
  • Experience with Python, R, or PowerBI is an advantage but not a requirement
