Position Overview
Greentown Labs is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Manager of Partnerships to play a critical role in facilitating the intersection of climatetech innovation and corporate collaboration. This position is responsible for the long-term stewardship of our corporate ecosystem through strategic account management and execution of high-impact partnership engagements.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic relationship builder and expert project lead who is as comfortable navigating executive-level corporate boardrooms as they are working alongside early-stage entrepreneurs. You are a strategic thinker who can translate corporate sustainability goals into actionable programming that drives value for both our partners and our member startups.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Account Stewardship: Lead the lifecycle management of a broad portfolio of corporate accounts, balancing multiple partner priorities simultaneously while proactively identifying opportunities for partners to engage with the Greentown mission and ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
- Impactful Engagement Design: Own the end-to-end design and execution of customized partnership engagements, exercising strong prioritization and stakeholder management across formats, ranging from exclusive executive sessions and high-profile tours to large-scale ecosystem events like Sector Pitch Days.
- Renewal & Contract Negotiation: Drive the partnership renewal process by evaluating engagement data and partner needs, defining strategy, managing contract negotiation and execution, and selectively engaging senior leadership to advance complex or high-stakes partner discussions.
- Sector Leadership: Identify emerging trends across climatetech sectors, communicate insights across the broader Greentown team, and translate them into themed programming, strategically targeting relevant corporate and ecosystem stakeholders for speaking and engagement opportunities.
- Startup Advocacy: Serve as a bridge between partners and entrepreneurs, helping startups understand corporate interests while fostering robust, outcome-oriented relationships.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a primary liaison between partners and internal teams (Portfolio Development, Marketing, Startup Success, and Events) to ensure that all partnership deliverables are executed with excellence and align with Greentown's strategic goals.
- Strategic Revenue Support: Support special revenue-generating initiatives -including Climatetech Summit sponsorships and executive tours-by developing opportunity pipelines and managing partner engagement processes that lead to contracted outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in partnerships, account management, business development, or innovation services.
- 2+ years of experience specifically focused on project and constituent management.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), project management tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Industry Context: Experience working in a startup environment or with sustainability-focused organizations is a plus; familiarity with the climatetech industry is highly preferred.

Work Location and Schedule
Our standard business hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
This role is expected to be on-site at Greentown Labs in Somerville, MA at least three days per week, with the option to work remotely two days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Compensation range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00/year.
