Job Description

The LT Asset Trading & Portfolio Management department is seeking a Renewable Portfolio Manager responsible for overseeing the wind and solar asset portfolio, both for owned assets and for third‑party developers. The Renewable Portfolio Manager ensures high‑quality portfolio performance through robust analytical capabilities, strategic planning, and effective risk management. The role focuses on long‑term value creation, portfolio optimization, and supporting the growth of the renewable asset base in line with the group's strategic ambitions.

As a Renewable Portfolio Manager we expect you to

  • Ensure accurate representation of Renewable Trading Power contracts in IS systems to provide the trading desk with correct portfolio positions and real‑time exposure.
  • Communicate with park owners to collect operational and technical information and provide accurate inputs to the forecasting team.
  • Collaborate with service providers to maintain existing data flows.
  • Implement new data flows in coordination with traders and service providers.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders (M&S, Finance, Back Office, Trading, Dispatch and others) to ensure their operational needs are properly addressed.
  • Managing the certificates linked to the RES assets and also hedging the LT exposure for BESS.
  • Apply data‑management best practices and act as the guardian of data quality.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives in close collaboration with IS teams.
  • Monitor IS developments and ensure delivered solutions meet expected outcomes.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of automated IS processes to investigate operational issues and ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills

  • Advanced analytical skills and strong proficiency with data and IT tools.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Hands‑on experience in coding and scripting, particularly in Python.
  • Comfortable working closely with IT teams on systems, data flows and technical solutions.
  • Solid data‑management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of OT/GECO/GEPO/TAS suite is an advantage.
  • High personal standards and the ability to challenge yourself and colleagues in a constructive and respectful way.
  • Strong adaptability in a fast‑changing environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of processes, tools and data‑supervision standards.
  • Clear and effective communication with internal teams, managers and external stakeholders.

Required qualifications

  • Higher education in a quantitative discipline (preferably mathematics, economics or energy‑related fields).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative modelling, risk management or analytical support for RES/BESS trading or energy asset portfolios.
  • Languages skills
    • Fluent in English (minimum B2);
    • Polish or French is a plus
