Position Summary
The Sales Program Development Specialist is a key member of the Commercial Solutions team, responsible for enabling Redaptive's growth by developing customer proposals, business cases, and structured sales programs that drive deal success. This role serves as a trusted partner to the sales organization - providing financial analysis, customer insights, and strategic positioning for new opportunities.
This is a career-level role for a self-starter who is fully proficient in managing complex sales development processes independently and thrives in a cross-functional, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development & Deal Support: Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Commercial Product, Pre-Construction, and Engineering to build compelling, data-driven business cases for new customers.
- Financial Modeling: Create and refine cash flow models and financial analyses to support customer proposals and deal evaluation.
- Proposal Strategy: Partner with Sales to structure and position Redaptive's offerings competitively, tailoring solutions to customer needs.
- Pipeline Management: Independently manage multiple opportunities at various sales stages, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Customer Engagement: Participate in customer discussions to understand requirements, address program-specific needs, and communicate complex information clearly.
- Insights & Data Utilization: Translate customer-provided data into meaningful insights that support decision-making and accelerate deal closure.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to program development workflows and tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Governance & Quality Control: Ensure compliance with internal review and approval processes and uphold high standards for deliverables.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams in Legal, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Professional, self-aware communicator who can represent Redaptive confidently in customer interactions.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-6 years of experience in sales support, deal desk, consulting, or program development roles.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, proposal creation, and customer-facing engagement.
- Prior management consulting or sales operations experience preferred.
