Job Description

Your Tasks
We are seeking an experienced Interface Manager for Offshore Operational Preparation (m/f/d). In this role, you will play a central part in shaping and refining complex EPCI and maintenance contracts from an operational perspective. You will coordinate numerous technical and organizational interfaces and ensure that our offshore assets are optimally prepared for the start of operations.
You will work closely with our project partner-a leading German Transmission System Operator-as well as with the Project Manager, and you will take independent responsibility for defined sub‑projects.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting and revising maintenance and EPCI contracts from an operational perspective
- Interface and requirements management: Consolidating, specifying, and translating operational requirements from many departments into contract-ready technical appendices
- Participating in the development of maintenance strategies and concepts for offshore assets
- Contract management from an operational perspective: structuring, reviewing, and supporting negotiations in close cooperation with the purchasing and legal departments
- Operations readiness: planning and managing the handover from project to operation
- Internal interface and stakeholder management (between the "project organization" and later the "operational organization")
- Creation and maintenance of schedules and milestone plans (e.g., with MS Project)
- Ensuring quality requirements
Requirements & Your Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial), Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience in offshore EPC/EPCI also considered.
- EPCI/ O&M Contract proficiency - proven experience in drafting/reviewing technical appendices
- Exposure to offshore transmission (HVDC/HVAC platforms, cables, converter stations) or similar large infrastructure (wind, substations)
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level)
- Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
