We are looking for a Solution Engineer for Lifecycle Data Platform with a main responsibility in data modelling, development and maintenance of platform based on Neo4j database, Airflow data pipelines and GraphQL API. The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, Finland. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Solution Manager your role includes establishing our new data platform as a service, making sure that the platform is operational and observable. You would be also participating in development projects developing new data models. You would have to make sure that the Neo4j Enterprise database is kept up and running, new data sources from enterprise core systems developed and GraphQL API versions and schema maintained and providing data to users.
This position contains
- Platform engineering and operations - maintaining Neo4j Enterprise and development systems, version updates, monitoring, capacity planning and cost follow-up
- Data modelling and query design - designing Cypher queries to support business cases, maintaining index definitions and constraints, optimizing Cypher queries, refactoring models
- Data Engineering topics - building ETLs with Airflow using SQL and python
- Neo4j knowledge graph modelling - building new data models in business projects
- Operating a business-critical services - defining support models, observability, data catalog, GraphQL schema etc.
- Developing software solutions and data models with Lead Developers, Solution Architects and business stakeholders

- Participate in business projects as an information and graph data model expert

- Guide developers to utilize correct ways of working and offer mentorship

- Experience in DevOps culture and Agile development
- Good spoken and written English language
