Interim OneStream Product Owner

Job Description

At OX2 we are accelerating the transition to renewable energy. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an interim OneStream Product Owner to join our Digital team in Stockholm for a 1-year assignment. In this role, you will ensure that our Financial Consolidation, Financial Planning, and Financial & ESG Reporting processes are effectively supported by, OneStream.

About The Role

As OneStream Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between Finance and Digital, ensuring that business needs are translated into robust and scalable system solutions.

You will facilitate enhancements to the OneStream platform, support the operational delivery of finance processes such as budgeting and reporting, and ensure that system changes align with the broader financial process landscape. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance and Digital to drive system improvements, support key business processes, and deliver on the roadmap for H2 2026 and H1 2027.

The role combines strategic product ownership with hands-on execution, requiring both strong systems understanding and the ability to drive initiatives forward in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the operational implementation of the budgeting process within OneStream
• Translate high-level finance requirements into clear system and functional specifications
• Understand and manage integrations and dependencies between systems
• Assess downstream impacts of changes across financial processes and reporting structures
• Challenge requirements constructively and propose alternative, value-adding solutions
• Take end-to-end ownership of initiatives, from concept through implementation
• Support the setup and maintenance of financial reporting within the system
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Digital stakeholders across the organisation
• Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing activities related to the platform

Who You Are

You bring a strong combination of finance process understanding and system expertise, with the ability to see how systems, data and processes connect across the organisation.

We believe you have:

• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
• Proven experience working with OneStream, including collaboration with OneStream support partners
• Experience from, or working closely with, Finance and/or Controlling functions
• Experience in finance transformation, financial planning, consolidation, or reporting environments
• Strong system understanding and the ability to see the end-to-end process perspective
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.

Merit

• Experience in the energy sector or construction industry, particularly within energy development or infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering training or user enablement activities
• Solution architect experience or a strong system design mindset
