Job Description
Join our dynamic Supplier Quality & Development Organization, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety within our supply base. In this position, you will directly support the Gas Services Central Global Customer Operations business by qualifying and developing suppliers for liquid and gas supply systems on a global scale. Imagine leading cross-functional teams, engaging with suppliers, and driving quality assurance measures that make a real impact on our operations.
How You'll Make an Impact
- You will support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities and auditing their quality management systems and processes
- Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on commodity parts, ensuring adherence to applicable process descriptions and standards
- You will plan, track, and report on project milestones, budget, and resource needs while supporting supplier quality assurance measures
- Assist commodity strategic buyers in developing procurement strategies and project planning, contributing to effective sourcing decisions
- Represent Supplier Quality in cross-functional design reviews, ensuring that quality considerations are integrated into product development
- Manage various Supplier Quality Management tools and databases, ensuring data quality and transparency across the organization
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will also be considered
- Several years of professional experience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineering related to liquid and gas supply systems
- Your experience includes performing supplier evaluation, qualification, product/process qualification, and technical supplier development to ensure a quality-assured and cost-effective supply base
- You possess extensive knowledge in welding, coating, material cleaning & preservation, and inspection (NDT Level II & III). CWI / CSWIP 3.1 / IWE certification is preferred, along with AMPP / FROSIO certification
- A strong background in auditing, with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
- You are willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time and must have or be able to obtain a passport

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
