As the renewable energy sector continues to expand, we're looking for a Senior Bid Coordinator to join our growing Operations & Asset Management team in either our Glasgow, Stirling or St John's Town of Dalry office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the development of high-quality bids and proposals across a dynamic and fast-paced business. You'll work closely with Bid Managers and technical teams across the organisation, helping to coordinate tender submissions, maintain bid documentation, and support the successful conversion of new business opportunities. This role offers excellent learning and development opportunities for someone looking to build or progress a career in bid management within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Bid Managers in coordinating bid team input, technical/commercial liaison and required approvals before bid submission.
- Compiling tender documents, including formatting and maintaining version control.
- Creation and maintenance of proposal and pricing templates.
- Creation, collation and on-going maintenance of tender supporting information, including case studies, experience summaries and team CVs.
- Drafting of pre-qualification responses.
- Assist with NDA and contract negotiations, in collaboration with Natural Power's in-house legal team and department senior management.
- Collaboration with the Finance team and project managers, to ensure project handovers are delivered effectively once a contract has been agreed.
- On-going systems maintenance to ensure department reporting is accurate and concise.
- Tender portal monitoring including identifying new opportunities.
- Tender portal submissions and ensuring compliance with client procurement processes.
- Working collaboratively with bid team personnel in other technical departments, to support and strengthen the bid process.
About You
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a bid coordination role is preferred, with an administrative or business support background also considered.
- Able to take initiative and gain an understanding of the technical services we provide.
- Contract review and negotiation experience.
- Strong mathematical ability and copy writing skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong proofreading ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to learn.
Desirable
- Working towards an APMP qualification.
- Experience within renewable energy or a technical/engineering environment.
- Familiarity with document management or CRM systems (e.g. SharePoint).
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (minimum requirement)
- Further education (HNC/HND/Degree) is desirable

- Willingness to travel to office locations as required

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis.
