We are looking for a Business Innovation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure that Sunly's development decisions are grounded in up-to-date market insights, technology trends, and data. You will work at the intersection of market intelligence, technology, and project development, turning insights into practical inputs that shape our projects.
By combining Sunly's project experience with industry best practices and market knowledge, you will identify efficient, feasible, and forward-looking technological solutions across our portfolio.
What you will work on
- Monitor market and technology developments to identify key trends, cost changes and opportunities across solar, wind, BESS, hydrogen and related areas
- Connect Sunly's development projects with market data and benchmarks, and assess project assumptions against these
- Maintain and update key inputs in feasibility models (CAPEX, OPEX, yield, technology parameters) to ensure they are accurate and consistent
- Benchmark internal assumptions and LCOE against market data and highlight deviations
- Conduct focused research and provide practical recommendations on new technologies and solutions (e.g. hybrids, long-duration storage, grid-forming inverters)
- Collaborate with country teams and other stakeholders to challenge and improve project assumptions
What describes you
- Experience in market research and business analysis
- Understanding of profitability and investment models, ideally for physical assets
- Ability to translate market insights into project assumptions and feasibility analysis
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Estonian.
- Genuine interest in renewable energy and eagerness to use innovation and AI in your work.
What we offer
- Support for your wellbeing, inside and outside work - a quarterly sports allowance via Stebby, comprehensive employer-provided health insurance (including dental care and specialist visits), and access to mental health counselling and coaching via siffi.com.
- Time to rest and reset - 28 working days of annual leave, counted only in working days and usable flexibly, plus additional paid days off, including health days and leave for important life events.
- Room to grow professionally - meaningful, hands-on challenges and a dedicated training budget for courses, certifications, and conferences, alongside internal learning opportunities to support your development.
- Flexible hybrid work - we work in a hybrid way, with no fixed rules on office days. You are trusted to balance remote work with time in the office, and while much can be done remotely, a lot happens in the office and being there regularly makes collaboration easier.
- Work that contributes to the energy transition - you will be part of a team building and scaling renewable energy across the region, working on services that support a more sustainable energy system.
If you are excited about contributing to the renewable energy sector, we would love to hear from you! We review applications on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
