We are looking for a moderately experienced electrical engineer to strengthen the Plant & Cell electrical team at STH. The team is responsible for the electrical systems of the engine test facilities.
In this role, you will be a project electrical lead with electrical engineering tasks such as design, procurement, installation, commissioning and final documentation, but also hands-on with highly versatile electrical systems in an interesting industrial environment. You will work as a supervisor of electrical works performed by professionals. You will be working independently and in cooperation with several stakeholders, both internal and external. You are expected to have good communication and coordination skills.
Location
The position is onsite and the location for the position is Sustainable Technology Hub, Vaasa.
What you will be doing
- Ensure your project delivers the best possible electrical system & documentation
- Manage design, construction and documentation of electrical systems in ATEX areas
- Design and development of electrical systems
- Run tendering processes for contractor's work with the project team
- Support in leading electrical contractors and suppliers work
- Purchasing services, equipment and spare parts required to complete your project, and operate the facility
- Managing technical documentation
- Support that maintenance program is created for new systems
- Safeguard that works under own responsibility area are executed according to requirements, specifications, instructions, HSE, and the facility's policies
- Write risk assessments and work permits for electrical work when needed
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in own discipline
- Self-propelling active personality
- Good command in Finnish and English. Swedish is seen as an advantage
