Job Description
As a SaaS Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our services while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You'll be instrumental in maintaining our SynaptiQ platform and providing first-level support to our clients, as well as assisting with onboarding and the development of new features.
Your key responsibilities will be:

Technical SaaS Support
- Handle first-level requests from the biggest Renewable Energy Actors, providing efficient solutions to PV or BESS technical issues and discussing more complex problems with the Senior SaaS Engineer team when necessary.
- Assist the service delivery team with the deployment of assets into the SynaptiQ platform.
- Understand clients' needs and translate these into appropriate technical solutions.
- Support clients in maximizing their usage of SynaptiQ.

Contribute to further Product enhancement
- Provide input/ideas for the development and maintenance of the SynaptiQ platform.
- Implement new features and improvements under the supervision of Senior SaaS Engineers.
- Carry out testing of new features and updates, identifying bugs, assist in their resolution and ensuring the platform's stable operation.
- Adhere to quality standards to ensure the software meets both technical and customer needs.

Issue resolution
- Collaborate with Development teams to diagnose and resolve Second and Third-Level issues.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and delivering the best possible solutions.
- Focus on improving internal processes and updating documentation to facilitate the seamless handover of complex issues from Second and Third-Level support to the First-Level team, enhancing efficiency and service quality.

- Propose creative solutions to improve or automate internal tools and processes, discuss development roadmap, and implement solutions.

- Keep abreast of the latest developments in SaaS technologies and platforms and the new market requirements regarding renewable energy.
- Continually improve your knowledge and skills to contribute more effectively to the team

You may choose to expand your career into a deeper technical role as a Senior SaaS Engineer or pursue a career path in presales, onboarding, sales or even consultancy.
Requirements
To successfully fill this role, we are looking for someone with:
- An Engineering degree (in renewable energy, mechanical, electrical engineering or related field).
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Full proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical skills to analyse data flows through FTP, API or SQL Data collectors, UI dashboards etc.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Interested in Customer Service, with a curious mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and tooling.
- Interest in SaaS products and ready to deep dive into it.
- Experience with object-based programming programming languages (Javascript, Python, VBA).
- Experience with MySQL or other relational database management system.
Bonus points for:
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
- Previous experience within the renewable energy sector.
- Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
- Reporting skills (e.g. PowerBI).
