We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Maintenance Team at Ignitis Renewables Latvia. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance of automation, monitoring, and SCADA systems across our renewable energy portfolio, including Wind, Solar, BESS assets. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by

  • Maintaining and supervising LV/MV/HV substation automation, monitoring, and control systems for renewable power plants
  • Troubleshooting issues with extra‑low‑voltage critical infrastructure equipment
  • Identifying defects and performing repairs on automation and control systems
  • Configurating and updating automation, monitoring, and SCADA equipment, including backups and software upgrades
  • Preparing preventive and corrective maintenance reports and required technical documentation
  • Reviewing, updating, and approving technical and as‑built documentation
  • Ordering and managing spare parts needed for automation and control maintenance
  • Reviewing and adjusting drawings, schematics, documentation, and testing procedures
  • Preparing Standard Operating Procedures for extra‑low‑voltage equipment maintenance
  • Supervising installation work during and after commissioning and site acceptance tests
  • Reviewing and approving as‑built documents, such as test reports, manuals, diagrams, and measurement protocols

Required for this position

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Automation
  • Basic knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems and common components
  • Experience with low‑voltage, transmission networks, power plants, or substation automation/relay protection
  • Familiarity with network automation and monitoring equipment (controllers, transducers, PLCs, RTUs)
  • Experience in design, testing, commissioning, or maintenance of electrical networks or substations
  • Experience with SCADA installation/configuration is an advantage
  • Knowledge of relay protection is an advantage
  • Valid "B" electrical safety group or higher
  • Category B driver's license
  • Fluency in Latvian and basic English (A2 level or above).

Salary range for this position group

is 1670 to 2510 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
