You will play an important role in

Under the supervision of the Manager - Operational Accounting US, the holder of this position will perform the complete accounting cycle tasks for various companies.

  • Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end files according to the group's procedures, standards, and internal control rules;
  • Provide support to the Manager in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements;
  • Participate in the production of the budget for the entities under their charge;
  • Ensure the reliability of data by meeting the deadlines set by the group and highlighting discrepancies;
  • Collaborate in optimizing methods, tools, and processes;
  • Work closely with the team to ensure interventions align with business objectives;
  • Collaborate closely with all departments;
  • Perform all related accounting tasks.

To succeed in this position, you need

  • Hold active CPA license (asset);
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (public accounting experience is an asset);
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and analytical review of reporting produced (essential)
  • Ability to translate financial results to digestible summaries for stakeholders (essential)
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards (complex topics);
  • Experience in business acquisitions (an asset);
  • Knowledge of the Office suite (essential);
  • Knowledge of SAP and Longview (an asset);
  • Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and the ability to advance complex files;
  • A good team spirit with strong analytical skills;
  • Rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
  • Respect for objectives and deadlines.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $88,559.00 - $94,300.00. This range includes the target value of the annual Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP).
