As the Senior Advisor, Marketing on the Customer Experience team, you will play a vital role in shaping a sustainable future at Southern California Edison (SCE). Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing for Affordability, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies to help customers understand and drive adoption of various programs, such as income-qualified programs, and resources that can help customers save and manage their bills. Your responsibilities will include designing customer journeys and orchestrating marketing efforts that resonate with our diverse audience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data-driven insights and SCE's Martech stack, enhancing customer engagement, optimizing marketing campaigns, and measuring performance outcomes. By advancing these initiatives, you'll help improve awareness of critical affordability programs and strengthen customer trust, while supporting SCE's broader mission for a sustainable energy future.

Responsibilities
- Oversees the company's marketing efforts effectively delivering the brand and strategic messaging to both internal and external audiences, including the design of key campaigns and promotional strategies whilst empowering the marketing and communications team.
- Develops and orchestrates marketing technology driven campaigns across program portfolios, while leading both marketing and technical requirements for IT which impact both short-term and long-term Marketing Technology strategies.
- Ensures the brand is delivered consistently, cohesively, and in a compelling manner across all communications vehicles, brand guidelines, messaging, and strategic direction internally and externally.
- Oversees the development of critical relationships with corporate and industry media organizations, communities, trade associations, and other affiliated non-industry organizations in order to help position the company positively.
- Drives the creation of a number of compelling marketing campaigns and drives campaign management across multiple channels within the organization.
- Oversees and analyses spending and assesses ROI for promotional activities, including digital marketing, advertising, collateral, and internal and external events/conferences; Identifies and makes recommendations to improve ROI consistently.
- Defines future state marketing plans to support new and emerging programs.
- Designs and implements strategic marketing plans for SCE's programs and services, skewing heavily towards Business-to-Business (B2B) lead generation marketing and sales programs.
- Develops multi-channel go-to-market implementation plans that are grounded on strategic channel/media planning and execution.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in marketing communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience creating and implementing personalized customer journeys utilizing marketing automation platforms.
- Proven track record of developing marketing strategies that drive customer engagement.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent enterprise-grade multi-channel marketing platforms.
- Experience managing vendor relationships to enhance marketing efforts.
- Strong background and experience in multi-channel marketing strategy and end-to-end campaign planning, with a focus on data-driven insights and analytics to inform decision-making across various media channels, including email marketing, social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), social advertising, digital advertising (e.g., display, PPC), content marketing, and traditional media (e.g., TV, radio, print).
- Advanced understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies.

- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
