Your responsibility areas
As a Senior Business Controller, Project (m/f/d), you take on a central role in the financial management and advisory of one or more of our large-scale projects. You work closely with the responsible business partner and are accountable for planning and analysis. You are part of an international team of additional (Senior) Business Controllers and report to the Director Project Controlling.
Further tasks are:
- Project controlling & forecasts: Independent preparation of budget and forecast planning in close coordination with the business partner
- Risk management: Identification and evaluation of risks and opportunities in projects, as well as coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Early warning systems: Establishment and continuous development of early warning systems to identify critical developments at an early stage
- Business partner support: Point of contact for financial, commercial, and risk-related topics
- Interface management: Close collaboration with Legal, Contract Management, and risk management specialists
- Working capital & cash flow: Management of working capital, including cash flow controlling, in coordination with the business partner
- Analysis & reporting: Preparation of target vs. actual comparisons to assess project performance, as well as monthly reporting for internal and external purposes
Your profile

- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on project controlling, or a comparable qualification
- At least five years of professional experience in a similar position
- Proficient knowledge of SAP (CO, FI, PS & SD) and confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting according to HGB and IFRS, particularly IFRS 15
- Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, and a high level of commitment with a clear focus on results
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken with willingness to travel up to 20% - both nationally and internationally
