Job Description

Are you interested in building resilient, dependable cybersecurity defenses that protect global digital environments? Would you like to be part of an international SecOps team helping NKT safeguard its digital workplace while contributing to a greener tomorrow? As a Security Operations Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving the security controls that protect endpoints, identities, networks, and cloud platforms. Joining a global company on an exciting growth journey, you will help us advance our detection and response capabilities and continuously improve our cybersecurity maturity.

Build and enhance security tooling that protects our global environments

In this role, you will design, maintain, and optimize our security controls and engineering processes. You will work closely with SecOps colleagues, IT teams, and our Managed Security Service Provider to ensure unified, high‑quality security coverage. With a clear focus on XDR, SIEM, Vulnerability Management and endpoint/cloud protection, you will help ensure that issues are identified fast and resolved with minimal impact.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Maintain and improve SIEM, XDR, vulnerability scanners, and other security tools.
  • Identify and address coverage gaps and misconfigurations.
  • Perform regular health checks and ensure that security tooling is up to date and functioning correctly.
  • Assess recommendations from security tooling and coordinate remediation with responsible teams.

You will work in close collaboration with international teams. This position is located in Kaunas.
