Job Description

NKT is looking for a Sr Manager, Procurement Competence Center G3C in Chennai to manage procurement analytics, market intelligence, and process excellence that support better decisions across categories, suppliers, and procurement initiatives. Shape procurement analytics and process excellence globally

In this role, you will manage a team of specialists and analysts within Procurement Excellence and turn data, KPIs, and market insights into practical actions. You will work across business lines, group functions, and suppliers to improve process maturity, compliance, supplier performance governance, and digital tools. The role also includes change management, communication in procurement forums, and support for procurement academy planning and skills development.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Manage procurement analytics, KPIs, and reporting
  • Build market intelligence and recommendation models
  • Improve procurement processes, tools, and compliance
  • Oversee supplier performance scorecards and governance
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives, stakeholder communication, and adoption

You will report to the Sr Director, Procurement Excellence, and work with a diverse team of specialists and analysts in the COO business line. The position is based in Chennai, India, and includes international travel of more than 30 days per year.
