We're looking for a Product Manager - someone ready to make a real impact by shaping the future of our trading products, with a particular focus on intraday trading solutions.
Why this role matters
The Product Manager plays a critical role in defining the what and why behind our trading products. In this position, you will build a deep understanding of customer needs and the energy trading industry, own product discovery, and turn insights into impactful outcomes. Working closely with design and engineering, you will ensure that solutions not only meet customer expectations but also align with business realities. This role combines strategic thinking with customer-centricity to deliver products that strengthen our market position and drive long-term success.
What you will do to make a difference
- Develop a deep understanding of customers and the short-term power trading landscape, including workflows, processes, and pain points; own discovery and translate insights into product outcomes.
- Define product-specific strategy and business model, aligned with the business unit's broader strategy and market opportunities.
- Ensure tight alignment with other products and business areas within Volue, collaborating extensively with Product Owners and other Product Managers within other product lines, as well as stakeholders in development, consulting, sales, and other functions to deliver a cohesive product offering and strategy.
- Own Go-To-Market alongside Sales and Marketing - plan launches, enable the field, close feedback loops from the market, and act as the market voice for your products, driving thought leadership and positioning Volue as a market leader in the segment.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to keep products relevant and differentiated.
- Own and maintain key product assets for internal stakeholders (GTM, Sales, Marketing), including product roadmap, standard agreements and pricing, product factsheets, and presentations.
What you need to succeed
- Must have: proven experience in energy or trading.
- Experience working on software products as a product manager, product owner, consultant, or industry expert.
- Solid understanding of modern product discovery and product management practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or commercial field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a global, fast-moving environment.
