Job Description
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the perfect place for you! We are currently looking for a motivated and curious Student Assistant (internally called Analyst) to join our Green Credit Fund Investment and Investment Management Team in Copenhagen.
Team
The Green Credit Funds (GCF) targets subordinated credit investments with a risk-return position between equity and senior debt. The funds invests in tailor-made debt solutions across a variety of assets, including on/offshore wind, solar PV, waste-to-energy, PtX, and advanced biofuels. CI GCF I is CIP's first debt fund with EUR 1bn in commitments, and is over 95% committed, with 11 investments in the portfolio. With strong momentum from CI GCF I, CI GCF II has launched and expects a first close in 2026. You will work closely together with a highly experienced team of 20 people, based in Copenhagen, London, and New York, in a dynamic and truly global environment.
Role
As an Analyst in GCF you will contribute to the entire transaction processes, including the sourcing/origination, structuring, and execution of CIP's credit investments globally as well as monitoring and analysing performance of existing credit investments and various other tasks. You will work closely together with our highly experienced investment teams in an international and collaborative environment. We will constantly seek to inspire you, while focusing on your learning and personal development. Working with our skilled team members, the right candidate will build a solid commercial and contractual understanding of renewable energy infrastructure projects and how they are financed. Additionally, Analysts who demonstrate strong performance could be invited to join the team as full-time Associates after graduation.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:
- Screening, market analysis, and due diligence of new credit investment opportunities
- Monitoring and analysis of performance of existing credit investments
- Preparation of Investment Committee materials and other internal reporting
- Financial modelling of large complex infrastructure assets including valuation, project finance, and structuring of investments
- Visualization and presentation of technical and financial data to stakeholders
- Assist investment team members with liquidity management and execution of funding and hedging strategies
The position is part-time and based in our headquarters in Nord??. The workload will vary depending on the numbers of projects you are working on, and you will be given the opportunity to shape your daily routine and schedule.

CIP is looking for second-year Bachelor students or students starting third-year Bachelor after the summer in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or any other relevant field.

- Great communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
- Interest in corporate finance, strategy, and renewable energy
- Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical aptitude and structured and project-oriented approach to work
- Ability to deliver high quality output in a time-sensitive setting
- Curious and creative mindset and spirit of inquiry
- Ability to work with limited supervision, at the same time enjoying teamwork and engaging with colleagues at all levels of seniority
