Job Description

Implement and maintain Environmental and HSE Management Systems at both project and site level in accordance with internal policies, ISO 14001 standards, contractual requirements, and applicable local legislation. Coordinate the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans across all project phases, including the management of waste, water, chemicals, emissions, spill prevention, and protection of sensitive environments. Manage environmental permitting activities, ensuring compliance with permit conditions, monitoring requirements, and reporting obligations. Support site and construction teams through inspections, audits, and environmental walkthroughs, ensuring contractor and subcontractor compliance with environmental standards. Promote environmental awareness and a strong site culture by delivering training, toolbox talks, and engagement initiatives. Monitor environmental performance through data collection, KPI tracking, and reporting, contributing to continuous improvement. Provide technical guidance on environmental legislation, sustainability, and climate-related strategies, as well as support incident investigations and emergency preparedness activities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in environmental roles, preferably in construction or commissioning environments
  • Languages: Swedish and English
  • Certifications: NEBOSH or equivalent
