We are looking for a Senior Developer to help us in the creation of solutions that will be used by experts supporting mission critical systems that reduce the carbon footprint around the world.
We are currently in our third year of a thoughtful adoption of the LeSS framework in which we strive to create a fulfilling environment where product developers can learn, grow and challenge the status quo.
The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, Finland. Although this position follows a hybrid work model and remote work is supported, employees are expected to work onsite at the office 2-3 days per week.
What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
- You enjoy creating efficient and scalable products that have an impact on the world
- You are a team player and embrace opportunities to help other developers grow
- You experiment and aren't afraid to learn from failures
- You thrive on the collaborative design and development of useful products in a shared code environment
- You are a key part of the development and maintenance of our edge solution, platform, data streaming and aggregation, insight generation and end user applications
- You embrace development, deployment, and monitoring activities and implement this with IAC, Continuous Delivery and test automation practices
- You work fluently in statically and dynamically typed programming languages and AI models
- You have practical experience with cloud and containerization technologies ( Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure )
- You have learned that ATDD and TDD are needed to design maintainable, high-value products
It's a big plus if you have previous experience with:
- Event-driven systems and message queuing technologies, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar
- Industrial communication protocols like OPC UA, Modbus and/or NMEA
- Relational and time series databases
- Data Science and or User Experience Design
