Job Description

Are you motivated by creating structure, driving progress, and making complex project plans come together? We are looking for a Resource Planner to join our Planning Department. This is a hands-on planning role with specialist responsibility for resource planning across offshore construction projects. You will support project execution by turning project demand, resource availability, and operational priorities into clear, reliable staffing plans.

In this role, you will help create control and transparency across a fast-moving offshore project portfolio. You will follow up with stakeholders, identify gaps before they become execution issues, challenge unclear assumptions, and help ensure that critical offshore positions are covered in time.

The role is well suited for someone who enjoys working close to project execution and wants to develop in a direction similar to project coordination, project planning, operational excellence, or junior project management.

You will have a visible role in a global environment where your ability to structure information, manage a complex stakeholder landscape, drive follow-up, and communicate clearly will make a direct difference to construction performance.

How You'll Make an Impact

As a Resource Planner, you will:

  • Own and maintain short- and medium-term staffing plans across offshore wind projects within a 0-12 month planning horizon.
  • Translate project demand into actionable staffing plans, identifying risks, priorities, and mitigation actions to protect portfolio performance.
  • Coordinate with project teams, line managers, and planning colleagues to ensure offshore positions are filled in line with project timelines.
  • Proactively identify and address resource gaps, bottlenecks, surpluses, and planning risks before they impact project execution.
  • Drive stakeholder follow-up and decision-making by clarifying demand, resolving planning issues, and providing transparent status updates and reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and ways of working to support a growing offshore project portfolio.

What You Bring

  • 2-6 years of experience in resource planning, workforce planning, project coordination, operations planning, logistics, or a similar role in a project-driven environment.
  • Background from complex operational or technical industries such as offshore wind, energy, construction, maritime, oil & gas, aviation, or manufacturing.
  • Strong ability to create structure, maintain overview, and translate complex inputs into clear plans, actions, and priorities.
  • Proactive and self-driven mindset with the confidence to follow up, challenge assumptions, ask questions, and drive clarity across stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience working across projects, functions, cultures, and seniority levels.
  • Analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills and experience working with planning data, reporting, and planning/resource management tools such as Planisware; fluent English and willingness to travel occasionally.

About the Team

This role gives you the opportunity to work close to some of the world's largest offshore wind projects and to influence the plans that keep execution moving. You will gain insight into offshore project delivery, technician deployment, resource readiness, and cross-project prioritization in a global business. You will work with many different stakeholders and build a strong understanding of how large-scale energy projects are planned and executed. For the right candidate, this can also be a strong development role into areas such as project planning, project coordination, resource management, operations excellence, or project management.
