Your main responsibilities are

  • Develop and execute Supplier Development actions for specific scope of supply, mainly focus on casting, forging components and machining process.
  • Supplier performance monitoring and guidance
  • Responsible for Quality, Delivery and Cost activities utilizing defined Supplier Development tools (e.g. supplier audit, WPAP, PQAP)
  • Execute supplier audits and audit follow-up according to supplier audit plan
  • Gather and analyze supplier performance data
  • Support suppliers with their operational efficiency / organizational growth / product improvement and development initiative
  • Develop and execute Supplier Development action plan for supplier improvements as assigned
  • Assess and follow up the suppliers' quality management systems and Supplier Management System (VMS) rating
  • Participate in the development of Wärtsilä's tools and procedures for Supplier Development & participation in assigned development projects
  • Base on the LRP plan, support the CMT project

You will shine in this role when you have

  • 5-8 years' experience in SCM category management role.
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Good communication and negotiating skills.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Good ownership. Target oriented and self-motivated.
  • Accepts frequency business travelling.
