Job Description

At OX2, we are accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future. We develop renewable energy projects and unlock their value through advanced PPA structuring and pricing.

We are currently seeking a Senior PPA Structurer to join our Energy Origination & Markets / PPA Structuring team, a pivotal role at the core of our commercial strategy. The position can be based in any of our offices across our European markets.

About the role

As Senior PPA Structurer, you will act as the deal captain for PPA/FPA transactions, steering the full execution process from initial structuring and term sheet negotiation to final contract signing.

You will work in very close collaboration with the OX2's PPA origination team and manage cross-functional teams, align internal stakeholders, and lead external negotiations, ensuring structured, commercially sound deals that create value for OX2 and our partners.

From day one, you are expected to operate independently, bringing your expertise to drive transactions forward and strengthen our PPA Structuring & Pricing capabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead PPA/FPA structuring and negotiations for multiple projects across different markets
  • Interface the customer in a close collaboration with PPA originators
  • Act as project manager for both internal and external stakeholders in transaction processes
  • Drive development of term sheets, long-form agreements, and supporting materials for offtakers
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (legal, technical, treasury, investment, market intelligence)
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, including brokers, M&A teams, and legal counsel
  • Oversee due diligence processes related to PPA transactions
  • Negotiate core transaction documents, including:
    • Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)
    • Term Sheets & Exclusivity Agreements
    • Long-form PPA/FPA contracts
    • Guarantees of Origin (GoO) agreements
  • Engage directly with offtakers, investors, and partners across global markets

Locations

The position can be based in any of our offices across our European markets ( Sweden, Finland, Romania, Poland, Italy)

Qualifications

  • Academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or similar (MSc preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in PPA structuring and/or negotiation
  • Proven track record of closing multiple PPA/FPA deals with corporates and utilities
  • Strong understanding of European power markets and transaction structures
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of how revenue agreements will impact the overall business case and its sensitivities
  • Ability to lead complex projects while managing multiple stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for deal-making
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are considered a plus)
  • International experience and willingness to travel
