NKT is on a growth journey and is welcoming a Senior Strategy Consultant to join our Group Strategy team. Are you ready to work on strategic development projects, advise senior leaders, and help advance our global objectives? Join us in our journey to connect a greener world.

Elevate your career in corporate strategy and business development

You will be responsible for managing the workstreams of strategy development and M&A projects with frequent updates to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Steward the strategic planning process within the company, support senior management and board decision-making material preparation and facilitation of senior management workshops
  • Support the business lines in strategic and business development discussions and provide analytical rigor to their plans and efforts, including structure and sparring for strategic roadmaps and business development initiatives such as go-to-market actions
  • Perform industry research and strategic analyses in markets/businesses of interest
  • Identify and track potential acquisition targets, working closely with department/business leads
  • Manage M&A projects from identification through relationship building, target engagement, due diligence, deal completion, and implementation handover.
  • Build detailed financial models, business case, and funding profile

You will be part of a skilled and international team of colleagues placed in Copenhagen, Rotterdam and Prague/Kladno. A good cooperation and an open work environment are key to us, and the team meets up in person on a regular basis at one of our sites. Travel within Europe is to be expected. We are currently growing our team by recruiting a new employee, located in the Prague or Porto area. Our office is in Kladno, close to Prague and in Esposende close to Porto and we are open to remote employment. You will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.

Resourceful business strategist experienced in managing projects

You use an organized, systematic approach together with concentrated focus and personal resolve. These qualities enable you to create results and deliver high quality within agreed deadlines, also in busy periods. You combine great financial insights with good communication and managerial skills.

You have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in the field of economics, business administration or engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy/management consulting, investment banking or an equivalent role in the industry
  • Project management experience
  • Fluency in English
