Job Description

NKT is looking for a Tender & Project Controller to support financial performance across complex tenders and projects. In this role, you contribute to transparency, forecasting, and financial quality in projects that support the green transition within a global organization. You will work closely with finance and business colleagues in an international setting. Do you want to apply your controlling background in projects that support future energy infrastructure?

Secure financial transparency in tenders and projects

As Tender & Project Controller, you ensure financial viability and performance through structured controlling, forecasting, and business support. You are involved from tender phase through project execution, ensuring financial insights are available to support decisions and follow-up. The role combines analytical work with close collaboration across functions and locations, offering broad exposure within Grid Solutions.

Your responsibility will be to

  • Plan, monitor, and report financial performance for tenders and projects
  • Review and approve tender calculations to support future project viability
  • Prepare and follow up project-specific forecasts and monthly results
  • Analyse deviations, margins, and risks, and support corrective actions
  • Develop early warning processes and track internal financial indicators

The position is based in Esposende and reports to the Director Tender & Controlling. Travels to other NKT sites is expected.

Structured and analytical finance professional

You approach tasks in a structured and analytical way and are comfortable working with complex financial data. You collaborate well with colleagues across functions and countries and contribute with clear communication in finance-related discussions. You are solution-oriented, maintain overview under changing conditions, and support business colleagues with clarity and consistency.

You also have

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Controlling, or a related field
