About the Role
TransAlta is seeking a highly motivated student to join our Asset Records team in Sarnia for a summer opportunity supporting key records management activities.
The Asset Records Control Summer Student will support the team with document scanning, metadata collection, and accurate data entry into spreadsheets and the Fusion system to help maintain reliable and up-to-date asset records.
A Day in the Life
- Scan and digitize high volumes of physical records, including binders
- Collect and record metadata to support asset tracking
- Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets
- Upload and enter completed records into the Fusion system
About You
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel for data entry and spreadsheet management
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Professional for document handling and bookmarking
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately capture and organize data
