Job Description
As a Working Student - General Financial Controlling (f/m/d), you will support our team in delivering high-quality financial insights and reporting. With your interest in data, finance and Power BI, you will help strengthen transparency and enable better decision-making - because at Vattenfall, there is a way.

Your tasks and responsibilities
In this role, you will support the financial controlling team by ensuring high-quality data and transparent reporting. You will contribute to improving processes and help translate financial data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
- Perform detailed data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
- Support preparation of time-writing and project-related reports
- Contribute to project controlling activities by collecting, structuring and analysing relevant data
- Prepare and present insights for internal stakeholders in a clear and understandable way
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to ensure smooth information flow and knowledge sharing
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the implementation of more efficient workflows
Your work directly supports better financial transparency and smarter decisions, while giving you the opportunity to combine Finance, Data and Power BI in an international energy company.
Qualifications
You are currently studying in a relevant field and are curious to understand how financial data drives business decisions. You enjoy working carefully with numbers and collaborating with others in an international environment.
- Ongoing studies in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
- Strong Excel skills, enabling you to work efficiently with large data sets
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial structures
- First experience with Power BI or motivation to develop your skills in data visualisation
- Confident communication skills in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
- A structured and careful way of working, especially when handling data and reports
