Schneider Electric, together with one of their largest customers, has embarked on a significant collaboration aimed at optimizing and streamlining data center operations. As an Commissioning engineer, you will work on deploying Schneider's application solutions by testing and managing electrical control panels, generators, UPS devices, and other control systems. You will configure the equipment to ensure proper communication with other systems and protocols. Nothing is left to chance: all steps are tested, quality-assured, and monitored to achieve optimal performance and ensure that all values are accurately stored in the database.

To ensure a strong start, you will receive induction training and participate in Schneider's internal training programs. You will be part of a small team with an open, collaborative atmosphere. You will work on-site alongside both internal and external colleagues. The position is set to end of May or begin in June 2026.

Work tasks

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical monitoring systems and equipment are functioning correctly before being put into operation. Your main tasks will include:

  • Configuring and commissioning the complete application solution
  • Conducting general electrical monitoring to ensure specifications and standards are met
  • Performing various tests to identify potential issues and ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely
  • Collecting and compiling all necessary documentation, including test results and commissioning reports
  • Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth operations and effective customer coordination

We are looking for

  • Suitable educational background in electrical or automation (e.g. electrical or automation installer or engineer)
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering gained through education or previous work experience
  • Strong and genuine interest in both technology and data
  • Fluency in English
  • Valid B driving license and own car
  • Valid work permit for Finland
  • Willingness to travel to Swedish data centers for on-boarding work during the summer and fall 2026.

It is meritorious if you have

  • Fluency in Finnish
  • Previous experience working with servers or switches
  • Knowledge or experience of SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems
  • Experience with Modbus, BACnet, or other communication protocols
