Are you looking for a job that takes you around the world, challenges your skills, and makes a real impact on the future of energy? Do you thrive in changing environments where no two days are the same? At Semco Maritime, we're looking for a Service Technician to join our HVAC Service team - and you might be the one we're looking for.

In your new position as HVAC Technician in the Service division, you will become a valuable member of our dedicated HVAC Service team whose mission is to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient climate control systems across offshore substations worldwide. You will have the chance to work at the forefront of offshore wind energy - maintaining, troubleshooting, and inspecting HVAC systems on offshore platforms.

At Semco Maritime, safety is a core value, and in this role, you will contribute to maintaining and strengthening our strong safety culture while delivering innovative and reliable solutions. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.

Your formal place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, but work in the field of cause will take you to multiple places in both Europe, US and APAC. The position is full-time, and you should expect 100+ travel days per year to project sites around the world.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our international clients in the servicing and maintenance of HVAC systems on offshore substations.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting inspections, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC systems offshore
  • Diagnosing and solving technical issues - both remotely and on-site
  • Providing technical support to clients and colleagues
  • Documenting and reporting findings clearly and effectively
  • Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a curious, adaptable, and responsible technician who thrives in a hands-on technical role and enjoys solving challenges in diverse and changing environments. You have a proactive and structured approach to your work and are eager to learn and grow within a specialized technical field.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Certification as a Cooling Technician (Category 1) or are on your way to obtaining it
  • Experience with ventilation and chilled water systems (an advantage, not a must)
  • A basic understanding of electrical fault-finding and insight into automation related to cooling and ventilation control systems
  • Readiness to learn, grow, and take responsibility in a specialized technical role
  • Willingness to travel extensively and commit to 100+ travel days per year

At Semco Maritime, we create change. For people. For projects. And for the global energy sector. With us, you will join a community of over 2,300 of the most dedicated thinkers and doers in the energy industry who are driving real change and making their own personal mark on the global energy landscape.

While everyone knows why the energy transition is vital, we are concerned with the journey. How to get there. By providing the answers needed to make change real. Because we believe that global energy ambitions can only be realized through hard work and clever pragmatic solutions. This is what we do. This is what we invite you to participate in.

Safety is at the core of everything we do, and we are committed to protecting our people, partners, and the planet as we work towards a sustainable energy future.

So yes, working for us will change the energy sector - and may well change you too.
