What They Do
Caely Renewables is a private company focused on renewable energy and based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The company specializes in environmental commodities that assist businesses in their decarbonization efforts. Their offerings include biofuels, compliance carbon solutions, energy attribute certificates, voluntary carbon solutions, and renewable gas. This enables them to support companies across various sectors in reducing their carbon footprint and meeting sustainability goals without the need to build their own infrastructure (source: caely.com; caely.com; caely.com; caely.com). Their focus is on providing tailored decarbonization strategies and advisory services, as well as tools like a CO2 calculator to help businesses substantiate their sustainability claims (source: caely.com). Caely Renewables stands out due to its global desk structure and combined advisory and deal expertise, although it competes with larger traders in established carbon markets (source: caely.com; agentosaurus.com).
Projects & Track Record
Caely Renewables primarily acts as a trader and advisor rather than a project developer, meaning there are no specific completed projects with names, locations, or capacities documented. The emphasis is on portfolio building and due diligence, but no specific ongoing large projects or MW-scale developments are mentioned (source: caely.com; caely.com). Clients and partners remain unnamed, but the company collaborates with organizations such as Verra and Gold Standard for carbon credits (source: agentosaurus.com; caely.com).
Recent Developments
No significant announcements, contracts won, acquisitions, or funding rounds have been documented in the available sources over the past two years. The company's online presence mainly focuses on static product descriptions without press releases or news items (source: caely.com; agentosaurus.com). Likewise, no awards, certifications, or quantitative milestones such as total facilitated MW or tons of CO2 offsets have been documented (source: caely.com).
Careers
Caely Renewables offers job openings in various departments, including risk & operations, finance, biofuels, biomethane, voluntary carbon, and compliance carbon. This indicates an active recruitment strategy in trading, operations, and regional desks (source: caely.com). Open positions are likely available at all office locations, including Amsterdam, Genoa, Houston, and Stockholm, given the global team structure (source: agentosaurus.com; linkedin.com). The company culture is characterized by a "welcoming and inclusive work environment" with opportunities for continuous learning and growth, as highlighted by a passionate team story and transparency in leadership (source: agentosaurus.com; caely.com). However, no specific benefits packages have been documented in the sources (source: agentosaurus.com).
